Joe Thomas serves as the Senior Vice President, Finance & Accounting, and joined Smith Douglas Homes in 2024. Prior to Smith Douglas, he held various roles of increasing responsibility within the Bank of America Securities investment bank, providing corporate finance, M&A advisory, and capital raising support to REITs, operating companies, sponsors, and private investors in the homebuilding, real estate, gaming, and leisure sectors. Mr. Thomas’ professional life began at Johnson & Johnson, where he had roles in accounting, finance, and business analytics. He earned his MBA from Cornell University and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an Accounting major from Bucknell University.
